foundation stone laying ceremony: Naga People’s front (NPF) Dimapur division would be conducting a foundation stone laying function on June 27, 9:30 am at Landmark colony (PWD). Dr. Shurhozelie, president NPF and minister urban development and higher and technical education, Nagaland would be the chief guest and chief minister Neiphiu Rio would also be attending the function. All party workers have been requested to attend the function.
NPF Phek executive council meeting: Naga People’s Front (NPF) Phek Division has convened its executive council meeting on July 5 at the official resident of minister for health & family welfare Kuzholuzo (Azo) Nienu, at 1.30pm. NPF division press secretary Veduvo Rhakho informed that various issues confronting the party would be tabled during the meeting. All executive office bearers of the division have been requested to attend.

One injured in accident: An Army mini truck (MN01-7224) of 24 Assam Rifles stationed at Purana bazaar and Esteem VX (NL-07 7291) collided head-on near New Dhansiri Bridge at around 12pm Sunday. The truck coming from town was on its way to the camp located at Purana bazaar. The driver of the Esteem VX identified as Mukshah Phom (29 yrs) resident of Burma camp was said to be under the influence of alcohol. The driver suffered minor injuries and his condition was stated to be stable. (Staff Reporter)
