Cease Fire Supervisory Board (CFSB) supervisor of NSCN/GPRN Khapalang, Mon had come out heavily against alleged misuse of Cease Fire Identity Card issued for the NSCN (K) VIPs by breakaway group, mostly stationed at Kehoi designated camp. In a statement Y. Wangtin Naga, Supervisor, CFSB NSCN/GPRN (K) asked security forces and government of India to seize the Identity card from breakaway group adding nobody should misuse the sanctity of cease fire for their advantage. Wangtin said since it was a serious matter, movement of identity card holders in Nagaland State should be thoroughly checked to maintain the spirit of cease fire. He also informed that the NSCN and CFSB will shortly issue cease fire identity card only to the most important leaders of NSCN (K) in different colors. Hence all the cease fire identity card used by the breakaway group (Kehoi camp) would be rendered invalid, he said. He further went on to state that even the Kehoi designated camp belongs to the NSCN (K) and that the breakaway group has no moral right to remain in the NSCN camp. He asked the government of India to take steps to prevent “the misuse of NSCN cease fire by the unauthorized group”.
