NPF treated as legal wing of illegal organizations: Dr. Shürhozelie

Dr. Shurhozelie, president NPF and minister Urban Development, Higher and Technical Education on Monday laid the foundation stone of NPF Dimapur division office at Landmark Colony (PWD), Dimapur.
Speaking on the occasion as chief guest, Dr. Shurhozeli said NPF party was treated badly for many years in the early days and even called as legal wing of illegal organizations and of undergrounds and also called as anti-India. “But truth prevails and India recognized the unique history of Nagas and the political movement”, he said.
He further emphasized that the party will continue to strive for unity and settlement of Naga people and act as facilitator for the on going peace process to pave way for any settlement.
He also appealed to the NPF Dimapur division party members to take the office as establishment of a permanent base of the party and to permanently set their mind and work to unite all the Nagas together.
Those who attended the programme included- \Khekiho Zhimomi, MP Rajya Sabha; T.R. Zeliang, minister Planning & Coordination, Evaluation, Vet & AH, Parliamentary Affairs; Toshi Pokba, MLA Aonglenden; DMC advisors, NPF Manipur unit president, dignitaries, party leaders and members.
