NSF held a meeting at Senapati, Manipur on Monday wrapping up its first phase “goodwill tour” to different parts of Nagaland and Nagas in Manipur.
According to NSF president Kelhouneizo Yhome and general secretary N. Ejanthung Ngullie peopleof the area raised serious concerns on taxes levied on small time businessmen from check gates in Nagaland.
“Other pressing issues confronting them were also discussed and the NSF will be taking up all other issues discussed during the entire tour at the appropriate level,” they said.
The tour had been a success wherein people shared their “frank views and suggestions” on three topics viz. education reforms, social and economic issues and Naga political movement.
Meanwhile, the federation has extended gratitude to all its federating units and other organizations, all Naga students’ association of Manipur for assisting the NSF team ever since the team reached the Southern sector of Nagaland.
