May 27 incident: Memo to Isak, Muivah

Kohima Aor Telongjem (KAT), Watsu Mungdang Kohima (WMK) unit and Ao Senden convenor action committee have urged upon the collective leadership of the NSCN/GPRN (Isak-Muivah) chairman Isak Chishi Swu and ‘ato kilonser’ Th. Muivah to effect the arrests of two cadres ‘ss pvt’ Worshim Tangkhul and ‘ss corp’ Ngalenshang Chahongnao involved in the attempted assassination of Imtila Jamir in Kohima on May 27.
In a joint memorandum submitted to both Isak and Muivah on June 26 in New Delhi by the Joint Action Committee of the Ao Senden the signatories- president KAT Dr. Benjong Aier, president WMK Tiamenla and convenor Action Committee Impa Longkumer demanded that Ngalenshang who surrendered at Hebron camp be handed to police within six days from the date of receipt of the memo. They also demanded that Worshim, who is absconding, be also arrested without delay. The signatories cautioned that it would be compelled to deal with the matter in their own way for which they should not be held responsible, in the event of failure to comply with their demands.
