North East India (NEI) Christian education leadership training

The 12th North East India (NEI) Christian education leadership training was held from June 7 to 12 at Life Spring Corner, Dimapur.
The six days intensive leadership trainning programme was organised by NEI-VBS Christian education ministry where 25 trainees participated from different Local churches.
Some even came from other states where most of them are working as Sunday school teacher, youth director, while some attended the programme with a desire to know the word of God.
The training mainly focused on development of leadership quality to reach the gospel to the unreached people more powerfully.
The theme of the ministry was “Train yourself and teach others” (II Timothy 2:2)
The first day started off with morning, afternoon and evening classes while on the second day, a written test was held where the two best trainees’ award went to S. Tsusola and Hento Patron.
The training involved an intensive teaching on child psychology, counseling, Church music, method of teaching, visual arts, song, teaching bible memory, Bible games, and sports.
Resources person of the camp were Rev. PL Wati Longchar, Rev. Vangpong, Dr. Adila Mero, Athang Phom, H. Hammei Buchem, Director of the Ministry and praise and worship by Among and his team.
NEI Nagaland chapter was formed in 1999 on October 17 and has been running successfully with its headquarters in Bangalore. But now the ministry is run by itself, reaching the youth and children launching them deeper into the word of God.
In the last 12 years, the ministry has been organising different kinds of programme in Dimapur like street preaching, leadership training, and Bible camp.
The ministry also gives teachers training/leadership training, (VBS) vocational Bible school, Bible camp, summer camp to the local churches.
