On the invitation of Chinese Institute of Language & Arts Dimapur, a delegation from Kunming Medical University (KMU), China comprising of Liu Hong, director, Division of International Exchange and Cooperation, Professor Sun Jun, Dean of Basic Medicine School, Xu Xiangfeng, International Program Officer, Division of International Exchange & Cooperation and Madan Saraff, principal, The School of Chinese Language would be arriving Dimapur on July 8. The delegation is visiting India focusing on International exchange and Cooperation. They would be meeting senior Indian government health department officials and ministers during their visit.
The university has decided to provide 5-30% scholarship on tuition fees to every student. The delegation will hold a meeting with students and parents on July 8 in Dimapur and leave the same day. Director of Chinese Institute, Dimapur Jenny Haining Murry in a press release informed that it would be a golden opportunity for aspiring doctors to meet the dean and director of a reputed medical university and learn more about their system of providing medical education and for which students and parents would have to take appointments to meet the delegation.
The 6-yr MBBS program is recognized by MCI, WHO, Embassy of India and other international bodies.
