All Nagaland School Teachers’ Association (ANSTA) has appealed to the school education and SCERT to revoke the absorption order of ex-cadre officer Dr. Chubanungsang Imchen within 30 days from the date of publication of this press release.
ANSTA reiterated that it had earlier on June 25 submitted a joint representation to the commissioner and secretary to the government of Nagaland department of school education that under no circumstance an ex-cadre officer should be absorbed in the department. ANSTA in representation also mentioned that in the event of government’s failure to address the issue of absorption and en-caderment of ex-cadres in the department, the association would stand to fight against such move. ANSTA also stated that in spite of the representation submitted by different constituent associations of the department and several discussions held with the department authority, the department had absorbed the deputation service of Dr. Chubanungsang Imchen under the establishment of directorate of school education.
ANSTA alleged that the government had arbitrarily violated the department service rules as no such absorption and en-caderment of ex-cadre was provisionally allowed in the service rule. Appealing the government to revoke the absorption order, the association also cautioned that it would take its own course of action as adopted in the executive meeting held on June 28 in Kohima to protest against government’s act of favoritism and nepotism.
