Nagaland public service commission (NPSC) would be organising a “Seminar on examination reforms for NCS, NPS & allied services” on July 1, 11am Hotel Japfü, Kohima. Chairman, NPSC Dr. V. Hokuto Zhimomi would preside over the seminar.
NPSC deputy secretary Kelhouseto Nakhro in a press release informed that the Commission was proposing to introduce common syllabus designed to provide level playing from all fields common for everybody with the areas of studies expected to be known by all those who aspire to become a civil servant.
The emphasis would be on testing the aptitude of the candidate for the demanding life in the civil service as well as on the ethical and moral dimensions of decision-making.
The NPSC expressed hope that with this new approach, the Commission would be able to recruit individuals possessing the highest standards of ability, integrity and competence while ensuring confidentiality and fairness of the examination process.
