KSB ex-servicemen meeting held

The 29th meeting of Kendra Sainik board, the highest policy making body for ex-servicemen under the ministry of defence was conducted in Delhi on June 27 under the chairmanship of defence minister A.K Anthony.
Minister for power and election Doshehe represented Nagaland and addressed the meeting during which, important points relating to welfare of ex-servicemen in Nagaland were highlighted.
He lauded the central government for introducing various schemes for ex-servicemen in the recent years including strengthening the organisation of Sainik board both at the centre and state levels and enhancing the central share to 75% for maintenance of Rajya Sainik boards.
He also requested the Army to extend facilities and concessions to ex-servicemen as per their entitlement and also requested Raksha mantra to attend the pending issued with the government of India. Besides the power minister, the team official from the state Lt. Col SI Jakhalu, Secretary Rajya Sainik board, Nagaland and Lt. Col. RS Ahuwalia secretary Sila Sainik board Mokokchung.
