SBI’s first HNI customer lounge in Dmu

Observing ‘Bank Day’ along with the rest of the country, State Bank of India (SBI) Dimapur evening branch launched the first High Networth Individual (HNI) customers lounge on Friday.
The programme also included meeting with customers cum pensioners health check up at the bank premises. Speaking at the programme, S R Ahmed chief manager SBI Dimapur evening branch thanked the senior citizens and pensioners and described them as valued customers of the bank. He further requested them to avail the facilities provided by the bank such as pensioner’s health checks.
Assistant general manager SBI regional business unit Dimapur, Ashok Kumar said the SBI was committed in catering to rural areas. “SBI have opened many small branches so as to cater to the needs of the customers” said Kumar. Citing Dimapur as the commercial hub of Nagaland, Kumar said small branches have been set up and two more new branches would be set up soon. He urged High Networth customers to avail the facility provided by the branch and to interact with the branch manager in HNI customer lounge, which he said, was the first of its kind to be set up in Dimapur.
Congratulating the branch on its achievements, Kumar said SBI Dimapur branch was first set up as an evening branch but due to its reputation and customer demand, it has started to provide day services. He further disclosed Nagaland region bagged the highest internet banking registration out of 14 regions. “SBI is a market mover and is interested more in relation making then interest”, he added.
Speaking as the chief guest, a prominent citizen of Dimapur and an SBI customer, Neibu Nagi said the launch of HNI was a big achievement for the branch as well as the customers. Later, pensioners and senior citizens availed the health checkup facility that was set up at the bank.
Wondang–Ki: In view of ‘Bank Day’, State Bank of India (SBI) Rangapahar branch marked the occasion by presenting gifts to Wondang–Ki Charitable Foundation (WKCF) girls on Friday.
In a small gathering attended by K.K. Das branch manager SBI Rangapahar, SBI officials, N.T. Kikon managing director Wondang –Ki Charitable Foundation and the girls of the orphanage; Kikon thanked SBI for sponsoring ten girls from the past three years. (Staff Reporter)
SBI Bazar branch: State Bank of India (SBI) Dimapur Bazar branch observed “Bank Day’ by felicitating pensioner customers and also by launching special counter for passbook updating and mobile banking outside the bank premises by Ashok Kumar assistant general manager SBI regional business unit Dimapur.
Earlier, ‘ATSUXE farmer’s club, a 12 member farmers club was inaugurated by Manik Lal Das, chief manager Dimapur Bazar branch at Tokugha village on the eve of the ‘Bank Day’. Speaking at the function, Das said the purpose of launching the club was to bridge the gap between the bank and the farmers by educating them about banking and its facilities. Meanwhile, the club was constituted under the chairmanship of Mughalu Yeptho and secretary Khutoi Aye.
SBI, Wokha branch: State Bank of India, Wokha branch celebrated ‘Bank Day’ by visiting Dr. Motsuo Memorial Hospital (Civil Hospital) and Mhondamo Memorial Hospital. On the occasion, Branch Manager Lanuteka Imchen, along with the Bank staff distributed fruits and cash to the patients of both the Hospitals and fruits to the hospital staff.
SBI Jalukie: The 56th State Bank Day was celebrated by SBI Jalukie branch on July 1 with the Branch Manager L. Singsit accompanied by his staff distributing sweets and cakes in the Bank premises and Jalukie Community Health Centre.
