A large faction of anti talk NDFB (National Democratic Front of Bodoland) has built up its hideout inside Kaki reserve forest, in Karbi Anglong-Nagaon border, quoted a local vernacular daily published from Diphu today.
The daily also reported that one B. Narzari is in charge of the thirty member squad of the NDFB cadres who are armed up to their teeth, even the group is in position of UMG and other sophisticated assorted weapons.
This group is trying to secure its hold in the eastern part of Karbi Anglong and is in close contact with the existing hostile Karbi militant organization, KPLT (Karbi Peoples Liberation Tiger).
According to the report, this NDFB group along with the KPLT is also procuring weapons and ammunitions from the notorious arms dealers operating from the Dimapur city of Nagaland.
Arrest of few arms dealers along with members of militant organization by Nagaland police and army few months back revealed the nexus between the arm traders and the Assam based ultra outfits.
According to the report of the daily, the NDFB group hiding in the inter district border have not carried out any major offensive so far except extortion and abducting for ransom, the NDFB group is recruiting local youths to increase cadre strength understanding dynamics of the locality.
It may be referred to the fact that, stink of increasing tendency of both KPLT and anti talk NDFB concerning strengthening their base and mounting offensive against the establishment, both police and Army has enhanced their counter offensive operation, but stepped up effort of the security forces is yet to yield reciprocated result.
Proliferation of ultra movement may become a cause of concern in this district which will go for local Autonomous Council election, probably, in the month of December, this year.
