Legal literacy, awareness prog

The 6th semester students of Kohima Law College in collaboration with Nagaland Legal Service Authority & Nagaland Voluntary Consumer’s Organization (NVCO) would be conducting “Legal Literacy & Awareness Programme” in colleges and higher secondary schools.
The awareness programme would be covering several topics such as consumer rights, legal services authority and free legal aid to poor, environment, RTI, FIR, care and protection of children (Juvenile), cyber crimes, fundamental duties, motor accidents, claim tribunal, your rights if arrested, national social assistance programme, etc. The proposed programme would be conducted under the guidance of Kezhokhoto Savi, Lecturer, Kohima Law College and president NVCO from 1pm onwards on any working days for duration of 90 minutes. The programme coordinator in this regard, requested few colleges to accommodate the proposed programme in their colleges. However interested colleges or higher secondary schools may contact the office of Kohima Law College. Each programme shall consist of about 55 students and teachers.
