BREAD AND BUTTER PUDDING

INGREDIENTS
Bread- 6 slices   
Butter -2tbsp
Raisins-25gm
Eggs-4 numbers
Sugar-50gm      
2tsp corn flour
Vanilla extract-2-3 drops
Milk-500ml
Method:
1. Preheat the oven to 140C. Wash the raisins, cut the crusts off the bread. Spread each slice with butter on one side. 
2. Cut the bread into cubes or triangles. Arrange the bread cubes in a mould. Sprinkle the raisins.
3. Prepare the custard- 
Bring the milk to simmering point slowly over a low heat. Whisk the yolks, sugar and corn flour together in a bowl until well blended. Pour the hot milk on to the eggs and sugar, whisking all the time with a whisk. Return to the pan, add vanilla essence and cook over a low heat gently stir with a wooden spatula until thickened.
4. Pour the custard over the prepared bread layers. 
5. Place the mould into the oven and bake until the custard has set and the top is golden
