MURGH PUNJABI CURRY

INGREDIENTS
1kg chicken
2-3nos bay leaf
100gm onions
100gm curd
100gm tomato paste
20gm ginger 
70gm ginger and garlic paste
½ tsp kashmiri chili
½ tsp turmeric powder
½ tsp coriander powder
3-4 green chili
1tbsp chopped coriander
½ tsp garam masala 
1tbsp lemon juice
Oil to fry
Directions 
1. Cut the chicken into desired size. Chop onion, cut the ginger into julienne.
2. Heat oil in a frying pan, add the bay leaf. Add chopped onion and cook until it become golden colour.
3. Add the ginger garlic paste; add chili powder, coriander powder and turmeric powder.
4. Continue cooking and add salt, tomato puree and cook for some time.
5. In a separate frying pan heat oil and fry the chicken for few minutes. Add the chicken to the masala.
6. Add the beaten curd and cook for few minutes continue cooking till the oil comes up to the surface
7. When the chicken is done finish with garam masala, lemon juice, ginger julienne and chopped coriander.
