Akuluto Area GB Association (AAGBA) has threatened to collect toll tax on vehicles plying on NH 61 (A) between Alaphumi Village and Zunekita Akuluto Town under Zunheboto district.

In a press release, AAGBA president Hotovi Chishi and secretary Mulato Chopi stated that repeated request to the responsible department for maintenance and repair of the road has failed.
Therefore, AAGBA stated that the association would initiate maintenance of that road stretch by charging toll tax if the department failed to respond to its grievances within seven days from the date of publication. AAGBA stated that it would collect Rs. 500 on heavy trucks, Rs.300 on mini trucks, Rs.200 on LMV and Rs. 1000 on government registered vehicles.
