Seeking clarification as to why HoDs of schools are “threatened and warned by the department for not releasing the incumbents who are transferring with post/without a reliever”, the Aboi Area Students’ Union (AASU) has resolved to fight “tooth and nail against the transfer with post or without a reliever of staff.”

In a press release, AASU media cell has appealed the principal director of School Education, Nagaland that no transfer should be made with post from one establishment to another. AASU further mentioned that it was not the first time such transfers were being made “from our place considering as the backward area” and expressed “discontentment for such step motherly treatment meted out to us.”
It also stated that concerned individual/authority will be solely held responsible if such incumbents are released until and unless their relievers were made. ASSU called upon the authority to genuinely look into the quality education of students’ community in the state.
