Ao Baptist Arogo Mungdang (ABAM) theological educators’ meet under the theme, “Relevance of Theological Education in post modern world” was held from May 21-23 at Impur.

A press release by ABAM stated that the meet was initiated and organised by the ABAM theological education board with the vision that, while maintaining the identity of true disciples of Christ, the institution may give relevant and contextual theological education whereby when the students go out to serve they will patently incorporate the whole sphere of ministry thus deliver the need of the people rightfully.

ABAM said that it was the first time in its history to have such a salient programme where teachers of great leaders of Christian ministries came together and cogitate on what would be the right theological setting for this high paced generation.

The resource persons were professor Dr. Imsütoshi Jamir from CTC and pastor Dr. AkokAmer from Mangkolemba. Altogether 49 theological educators comprising of professors, lecturers and Ph.D students attended the meet.
