ABAM organizes NCFS in Tuli

A Nagaland Canaan Farmers’ School (NCFS) organised by Ao Baptist Church Association (ABAM) was successfully held at ABAM Canaan Farmers’ School Centre, Tuli from September 4 to 8. 

A press release from ABAM executive secretary, Rev. Dr. Mar Atsongchanger stated that Elder Kwan Soo Lee, president of Canaan Farmers’ Training Center Philippines, Dr. Sashiyangba asst. project officer Land Resource Nagaland and Rev Kim Hyun Chul, World Canaan Farmers’ School, South Korea and Rev. Dr. Mar were the resource persons for the training.

The concept of the Canaan Farmers’ School originated in South Korea in the 1960s and the school was instrumental in transforming the lives of people and in attaining economic growth in Korea. Today, it has become a world- wide movement and the people from all walks of life are trying to receive this training. 

ABAM has been organising this program since 2015 and this is its 6th session.

Nagaland Canaan Farmers’ School is a member of World Canaan Movement, a recognized agency for sustainable development under development for public information, United Nations (UN-DPI) since 2016.

Participants were from the churches under ABAM, churches under NBCC and from Nagaland Development Outreach.
