Agri officials visit ginger project at Phek village

 A team from Directorate of Agriculture Nagaland led by Renbomo Kikon, joint director and Khriesezolie, deputy director accompanied by Rudupra Keyho, district agriculture officer and Thuputhiyi Venuh, chief coordinator Phek Farmers’ Club recently inspected the organic ginger project belonging to Thupuve Vero of Phek village.

A press release from the department stated that the team was satisfied with the project which is the largest ginger cultivation not only in Phek but also in Nagaland. 
Thuputhiyi Venuh thanked the agriculture department for visiting the project and encouraging the farmers to take up ginger cultivation on large scale. Thupuve Vero undertakes large scale ginger cultivation upto 6200 kgs.
