AH&VS block level orientation

 The department of Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Services (AH&VS) conducted a “Block level orientation program on training and capacity building” under “National Livestock Mission 2017-18” for Kohima block with Veterinary Field Assistants (VFAs) on July 19, at Kohima CVO conference hall.
A press release from Chiephobozou, Veterinary Dispensary VAS, Dr. Vikuolie Mezhatsu said the program was chaired by CVO deputy Dr. Joseph M. Angami, who also acted as the moderator. 
CVO Kohima Dr. Vilatuo Felix Rutsa, exhorted the VFAs and officers present asking them to be pragmatic rather than procrastinators. He also encouraged the staff to work as a team in order to achieve different milestones.
The resource person for the program VAS Dr. George, spoke on “Terminologies & physiological parameters,” DLDO Dr. Pusazono Chüsi deliberated “Commonly used Medicines & Vaccine”, Dr. Keduzol Ltu, VAS spoke on “Sample collection & Site of injection/vaccination”, Dr. Elizabeth Yhome, VS emphasized on “Common diseases & their treatment” and Dr. Akangnungla, DDDO spoke on the importance of “Record Keeping.”
The technical session was followed by an interactive session where various issues related to field conditions were discussed.
Later, a vote of thanks was delivered by Dr. Kenalo Kath.
