AICTE official visits GPK

On his median visit to state capital, All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi director students’ development cell, director Dr. Amit Kumar Srivastava visited and interacted with students of Government Polytechnic Kohima (GPK) on October 13.

In a press release, GPK informed that the AICTE official also interacted with principals and faculty of polytechnics and officers of the department of technical education.

During the interactive sessions, Dr. Srivastava discussed various AICTE scholarship schemes available for students of Nagaland, institutional development schemes and faculty development schemes.  

Earlier, a felicitation programme was organised in honour of Dr. Srivastava where advisor to CM for technical education and election department, Medo Yhokha underlined the need for dedication and diligence on the part of principals and faculty of the polytechnics. 

He also sought the assistance and guidance of AICTE to enhance the quality of technical education imparted in the polytechnics of Nagaland.
