ANCSU holds 2nd union assembly

The 2nd union assembly of the All Nagaland College Students’ Union (ANCSU) was held at the Auditorium Hall of Saku’s Mission College Dimapur on July 20.
A press release from its speaker Pithungo Shitio and assembly speaker Toito D Chishi said the union assembly was chaired by the ANCSU speaker and roll call was conducted where 30 affiliated units attended the assembly. 
The assembly deliberated on the Kohima Science College Jotsoma Land Encroachment issue where it was decided that it will wait till August 9 as proposed by the district Administration.
Other issues discussed were MBBS/BDS and other professional courses issue; 2017-18 scholarship issue; immediate detachment of teachers attached (self-styled) to VIPs, Directorate, DEOs, SDEOs and other missions. 
Thejasenuo Kire of St. Joseph College of Jakhama was inducted as the women Coordinator of ANCSU for the tenure 2017-19. 
Mountain View Christian college students Council Kohima was suspended till further notice due to the college being declared non- functional. 
ANCSU general secretary pronounced the vote of thanks and the assembly secretary read out the meeting minutes of the assembly.
The union assembly speaker pronounced the quorum formed. Inato Y. Chisho Finance Secretary invoked God’s presence and Benjong Longchar, ANCSU vice president welcomed the congregation to the assembly.
