ANDWU elects new office bearers

All Nagaland Domestic Workers Union (ANDWU) general election was held on August 20 at Assisi Campus.

A press release from NDWM Nagaland region state coordinator, Sr. Pramila Lobo stated that,  Grace the key person of the union explained about a leader’s qualities, which was to set direction, build an inspiring vision, and create something new. 

Sr. Pramila Lobo, state coordinator of NDWM and director ACID explained to the members the roles and responsibilities of the office bearers. Aobendang explained to the members the process of election. 

Meanwhile, the union has elected office bearers for the term of three years (2019-2022) led by Hoyili Chishi as president, Nsungbeni Ezung as vice president and Muni Deb as secretary along with two others and six executive members. 

Sr. Pramila congratulated the incoming office bearers and acknowledged all the outgoing office bearers for their contribution for the development of the union. 

ANDWU was registered under Trade Union Act, 1926 on November 29, 2018 and presently there are 1950 registered members.
