Drawing attention to the grievances of CSS Hindi teachers, the All Nagaland Hindi Teachers’ Union (ANHTU) Mon unit has appealed the state government and concerned department to release the pending salaries for the month of June and July 2020 within this month.

In a appeal letter ANHTU Mon unit president, S. Topha Konyak and general secretary, Nokzei Konyak urged for prioritising the long issues of the Hindi teachers appointed in the year 2012-2013. It stated that inspite of several memorandums served by the union, the issue has not been solved to any extend.

Pointing out that with the irregularity of salary the teachers were facing untold hardships coupled with the COVID-19 pandemic, the ANHTU Mon unit stated that teachers problems have doubled as there are no more credits to be found. Union further urged the state government and the concerned Education department to ensure regular salary payment like other government employees of the state.
