All Nagaland Pre-Service Teachers’ Association (ANPSTA) held its general meeting on July 13 at LCS building. A press release by ANPSTA president, Hiyalo Jemu stated that the meeting was attended by members from all the districts. In the meeting, it was decided that the last date for registration/renewal of membership will be extended till July 20 as requested by members and a late fine of Rs 100 will be imposed on those who do not register within the stipulated time. Failing to comply with this decision will invite stern action and the association will not be responsible for non-inclusion of names, the release said.
The house also unanimously decided to stand firm on its demand for recruitment of Primary Teachers which was advertised on January 11 and has request all the members to be mentally prepared for further action/plan as decided in the meeting.
