Anti-terrorism day observed
Students carrying flag march on anti-terrorism day.

Ahthibung Region Club (ARC) in collaboration with EIMI NEXUS, GHS, Christian High School Ahthibung and Assam Rifles observed anti-terrorism day on May 21 in remembrance of all citizens who had fallen prey in the hands of terrorism. 

A press release from ARC vice chairman, Henpu Kuki stated that officer from Assam Rifles and president of EIMI NEXUS, Paotinlam Guite delivered motivational talks and urged the gathering to follow lawful path in life. 

Headmaster GHS Ahthibung, Elvis Singson and Seiminlal Thomsong, teacher from CSA applauded the efforts of the NGOs and government forces for observing such occasions to guide students in the right direction.

The event commenced with a pledge ceremony where all attendees took resolution for opposing all forms of terrorism and support the integrity of the nation. Students of both the schools carried out a flag march in the town by holding slogans against terrorism. 

Few selected students also painted on anti-terrorism theme. 

Nearly 340 students from GHS, Christian School Ahthibung and youths of the region took part.
