AOSGU annual summer camp

Alpine Open Scout and Guide Unit (AOSGU) conducted annual summer camp at the Nagaland State Bharat Scouts and Guides (NSBSG), State Training Centre Nerhema from June 25 to 29. 

Altogether 63 scouts and guides, rovers and rangers from the unit attended the camp. 
A press release from AOSGU scout master, Imlisünep stated that, inaugural programme was graced by John Tochimong, state organising commissioner (scout) NSBSG and Vimezhonu, state organising commissioner (guide) NSBSG on June 26.  
Vimezhonu, exhorted the scouts and guides, followed by march past by the different groups- Mt. Japfü group, Mt. Tiyi group, Mt. Pauna and Mt. Saramati. 
A song was presented by Manpei Konyak, rover scout followed by the declaration of the camp opened by John Tochimong. The grand campfire was conducted on June 28, where Khriesanyü Pienyü, district organising commissioner (scout) Kohima graced the programme as the grand campfire chief. 
Camp was conducted under the leadership of Imlisünep, scout master of the unit assisted by Sashikala Jamir, ranger leader. Various competitions were organized during the camp which included colour party, march past, flag procedure, camp craft, folk song, folk dance, district exhibition etc.
