In a bid to nurture young talents, Aphuyemi Football Club launched their academy on February 15 at Pughoboto Town under Zunheboto district.

Dr. Kitaka S Wotsa, Medical Officer Health & Family Welfare officially inaugurated the academy.
In his short address, he viewed that skills and talents were not enough in this era but was in need of structure training to groom such talents, and felt that the football academy would boast the young players and groom them at their tender age.
While observing that the renowned footballers have not reached their level by just playing, he asserted that they were trained in the academy from the grassroot level and to this, he called upon the academy to take it as a mission to train the youngsters.
He also hoped the football academy will groom successful players in the future for the state.

Launched on December 3,1990. Nagaland Post is the first and highest circulated newspaper of Nagaland state. Nagaland Post is also the first newspaper in Nagaland to be published in multi-colour.
