AR Kiphire bn pay tribute to victims of terrorism

Assam Rifles Kiphire battalion observed the International Day of Remembrance and tribute to the victims of terrorism at Kiphire, Ongmatre, Akhegwo, Pungro and Anatongre on August 21.

According to PRO HQ IGAR (N), lectures were organised at Loyola Higher Secondary School (LHSS) and Saramati Mountain School (MSS) of Kiphire, community hall Akhegwo and Government High School (GHS) Anatongre on the scourge of terrorism. 

Apart from offering prayers, silence was observed to pay tribute to the departed souls and all those who suffered and continue to suffer out of terrorism. Students, teachers and local residents participated in large numbers.
