Dimapur battalion of Assam Rifles organized an interaction with senior citizens and Ex- Servicemen of Assam Rifles at Kashiram Basti on July 7.
A press release from Assam Rifles said the aim of the interaction program was to educate senior citizens about the welfare policies being undertaken by Assam Rifles for Ex- Servicemen. 18 senior citizens including four Ex- Servicemen of Assam Rifles, locality chairman, secretary and two GBs attended the interaction program. 
Also, Phek battalion of Assam rifles organized an interaction with GBs and VCCs at Akhen and Ziphu, Phek district (Nagaland) on July 7. Issues pertaining to security and development of Pochury areas and upcoming events like Army and Assam Rifles recruitment and proposed Medical Camps were discussed. 39 villagers including GBs and VCCs were in attendance.
