AR organizes weapons display, cleanliness drive

Mon Battalion (35 Assam Rifles) organized a weapons display at Navodaya Government School, Chenwetnyu and Chenmoho Mountain School, Chenmoho on April 18. 

According to PRO HQ IGAR (N), the display was organized to motivate youth to join the security forces. Career counseling was also given to help students opt for a profession based on their interests. 34 students and six teachers witnessed the weapon display.

Also, Kiphire Battalion (7 Assam Rifles) conducted a cleanliness drive under the theme “Clean & Green Nagaland” at Kekhegwo village on April 16. 

According to PRO HQ IGAR (N), during conduct of the drive, various activities, including mass cleaning of roadside areas, public places etc., was carried out in coordination with the local populace of Kekhegwo village. 20 residents participated in the drive.
