Aradura Huskies clean up NSF Martyrs’ Park in Kohima

The Aradura Huskies Community Club (AHCC), on February 9, beginning 7 a.m, conducted a one-day social work at NSF Martyrs’ Park, as a part of its social agenda to serve public interest and welfare.

A press release from club general secretary, Benrithung Kikon stated that the social work was led by president Akum Sangtam and Benrithung Kikon, comprising of twenty club members who actively participated in the drive. 

Foliage was cleared, dirt and debris were collected and disposed, flower beds were tended to, fresh paint was applied on the walls etc. 

Besides that, the graves were cleaned and the main gate and metal surfaces were given minor paint retouches. 

The AHCC, a non-profit organization founded in the year 2015, conducted the social work as part of its efforts to beautify and maintain landmarks and places of importance in and around Kohima. It has conducted similar activities in the past since its inception. 

The club appreciated the Naga Students’ Federation for allowing the club to carry out the drive in its premises.
