ARC, Jalukie Battalion and Childline visits underprivileged children

Ahthibung Region Club (ARC), Jalukie Battalion of Assam Rifles and Childline, Peren unit spent a day with orphan kids of Children’s Home and Lydia Centre, Peren in true spirit of parenting and frolic. 

A press release from ARC stated that, Ngahneithem, vice president of ARC and her team motivated kids by playing light games with them. Childline team conducted essay competition and distributed stationary items. Childline, Peren promoted their one week programme from November 11 to 16 on the theme, “Childline se dosti”. 
Ibamsile Dwaswang centre coordinator of Childline Peren and her team also conducted awareness lecture on “good touch and bad touch” for the kids. Capt Dr Ashita Mathur of Assam Rifles conducted medical checkup of all kids and provided medicines to warden for future use. An officer representative from Assam rifles distributed goody bags to all kids, and motivated them by delivering a talk on society relationship with these kids. 
Peren COB Commander organised meal and refreshments for the teams and kids. Heuyisile, women secy of ZBCC, Samlamngaulung, warden of BHSS, Peren expressed gratitude towards these teams of ARC, Jalukie Battalion and Children Peren for extending this noble gesture to the underprivileged kids of society.
