Kiphire Battalion attended to an SOS call received from a critically ill patient Yangchumong, aged 49 years, resident of a border village of Tukhinkiu, Tuensang. According to PRO HQ IGAR (N), the medical staff from COB Thongsonyu immediately rushed to the village and undertook screening and evaluation of the patient for COVID-19 symptoms. No symptoms of COVID was found and patient was resuscitated with timely medical care.

Phek Battalion averted a major accident on the Laniye-Jessami road on June 18. The oil tanker which was travelling towards Meluri town got stuck in slush and skidded towards a gorge. A quick response team along with a recovery vehicle was sent to the spot and the oil tanker retrieved. 
Shamator Battalion contained a fire incident at Noklak village on June 18 with fire extinguishers and water bowser and assisted in dousing the fire. Battalion also provided basic essentials. Reason behind the fire outbreak could not be ascertained.
