Assam Rifles conduct civic action programme across Nagaland

Assam Rifles has been conducting various activities in Nagaland as part of its civic action programme for the welfare of public. 

Shamator Battalion: Shamator Battalion constructed a community hall and handed it over to the village functionaries of Chingnyu. 

According to PRO HQ IGAR (N), Chingnyu is a remote village in Mon district on Eastern most fringes of the country bordering Myanmar with negligible infrastructure get-up.

Mokokchung Battalion: Mokokchung Battalion organised a medical camp at Akuhaiqa village on July 7. According to PRO HQ IGAR (N), the aim of the medical camp was to provide free medical consultation and treatment for minor ailments to the local residents devoid of requisite medical facilities, especially the aged. 

Apart from providing medical, COVID-19 related assistance and awareness on monsoon related ailments and precautions were imparted.
