Assessment camp for senior citizens and PwDs

Assessment camp for senior citizens and people with disabilities (PwDs) under Rasdhtrya Vayoshri Yojana (RVY) and ADIP Schemes was held at town hall Tuensang on February 19. 

According to DIPR report, the camp was organized by district administration Tuensang, departments of Social Welfare, Health and Family Welfare, Nagaland, in collaboration with Artificial Limbs Manufacturing Corporation of India (ALIMCO), under the ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment.
Thousands of targeted individuals attended the camp who were medically examined by Dr. Temjen Sunep MS-orthopedics, Dr. Y. Imlong Chaba dermatologist and I. Tochi Imlong ophthalmic assistant of District Hospital Tuensang along with Moirangthem Surendro audiologist of District Hospital Wokha.
