ASUD organizes penalty shoot-out

Ao Students Union Dimapur (ASUD) organised a one-day penalty shoot-out at Diphupar local ground, Dimapur on Saturday. The open penalty shoot-out was held under the motto “Go for goal.”
Its Coming Home emerged as the winners of the shoot-out and were awarded Rs.70,000 while Zavi’s Club Kohima stood runners-up. In individual category, Keneinguozo Medoze was awarded the golden glove. 
Earlier, Advisor for Prisons, Printing and Stationary, H Haiying, who declared the tournament open, lauded the union for organizing the event and expressed hope that such events will bring unity among the people. 
Stressing on the motto, Haiying said, “having a goal and a vision helps one to move into the future.”
He also encouraged the participants to play with discipline in order to set an example for the upcoming youth.
At the closing ceremony, Advisor for Rural Development, Dr. Neikiesalie Kire said there are people who are capable of bringing good names through games and sports. 
While encouraging the youths to take up sports professionally, Kire also urged them to be dedicated and disciplined.
