ASUKC holds 43rd annual fresher’s day

Angami Students’ Union Kohima College (ASUKC) held its 43rd annual fresher’s day on June 30 at Ura Academy Hall, Kohima.
A release issued by the student body stated that the special guest, head of department of history, Kohima College, Keneilesa Neikha, underscored the importance of knowing one’s roots and preserving one’s identity and mother tongue.
He also encouraged the students to excel in their studies and the fields they choose after completing their studies.
The Tenyidie Kephrünuoko Krotho, various tribal units from Kohima College and other dignitaries also graced the occasion.
