ATMA Chetheba block conducts training

ATMA Chetheba block, under Phek district, conducted training on the topic “Sustainable agriculture, intergrated pest management, deworming practices of back yard poultry and piggery” on July 7 and 8. 

A press release by ATMA Chetheba block, stated that resource persons were ATMs, Victoria Zaphu and Nuzo at Khulazu Bawe and Phuyoba. Farmer award was presented to Sesayi, involved in production of tree tomato and large cardamom of Khulazu Bawe, while group award was presented to Kühu SHG of Chesezu Nasa for their exemplary achievement as a group working together. 

Resource person lauded the awardees for their hard work and encouraged to continue setting an example. Two food security group and two farmers interest group were formed from three villages, namely K Bawe, K Basa, Phuyoba and a seed money of Rs. 10,000 each were handed over to each group. As such, four groups were mobilized during the training programme.
