An awareness camp on batteries and fire extinguishers was held in Dimapur covering four areas namely City tower, Dhobinala, Burma camp and Bata-charali junction.

The camp was organized by M/S KC battery reviver, a master franchise of Energy and Fire Pvt Ltd (EFPL) located at circular road, opposite Zinyu gas service, Dimapur.

Five members from EFPL conducted the camp along with members of M/S KC battery reviver. Pamphlets on complete battery solutions and 12 volt batteries that can be revived were distributed to passers-by, shops and business establishments. The use of these items were also demonstrated.

M/S KC battery reviver proprietor Kughaho Chishi told Nagaland Post that the camp was organized along with the members of EFLP in order to create awareness of the usage of automatic and portable fire extinguishers and how the franchise could help in reviving used batteries, known as battery ‘health check up’. “We can revive your old batteries and thus you don’t need to buy a fresh one at high cost” he added

EFPL regional manager (Eastern Zone) Rinku Dhara said that the company had been promoting its Automatic & Portable Fire Extinguisher (APFE) which is compact and anyone from any age group can activate them within five seconds without any operator to extinguish fires. She also talked about the benefits of free battery check-ups which most people are unaware of. Any kind of battery can go for this ‘check-up’: UPS, inverter, solar, automobiles (vehicles), and other battery banks.

The company, Energy and Fire intends to help people understand the benefits of battery life enhancement and battery rejuvenation.
