B. Thong takes charge as CS in bureaucratic rejig

Nagaland government has appointed additional Chief Secretary, R Binchilo Thong, IAS, as Chief Secretary, Nagaland with immediate effect vice Tali Temjen Toy, IAS, with current charge of chief secretary and Finance commissioner, relieved of the charge of Chief Secretary, Nagaland.

Meanwhile, in a major bureaucratic reshuffle, the state government has ordered transfer and posting of several IAS, NCS, NSS and other officers with immediate effect.

According to a notification, I Imkonglemba Ao, IAS, agricultural production commissioner (APC) would hold additional charge of team leader, NEPED.

N Hushili Sema, IAS, commissioner & secretary, vety & AH and women resource department is relieved of the charge of vety & AH and would hold additional charge of commissioner & secretary, F&CS on retirement of Nikhashe Sema, NCS, commissioner & secretary, I&CS w.e.f. August 31, 2018.

Motsuthung Lotha, NCS, commissioner & secretary, parliamentary affairs would hold additional charge of Municipal Affairs Department.Alan Gonmei, IAS, secretary horticulture is transferred and posted as secretary, vety & AH department. Senti Ao, IAS, secretary, DUDA is transferred and posted as secretary, fisheries department.

T Mhabemo Yanthan, NCS, secretary, tourism & team leader BHM is relieved of the charge of team leader NBHM. Neposo Theluo, NCS, secretary RD department would hold charge of rural development department till further orders. Kevilenuo Angami, OSD planning & coordination and evaluation would hold additional charge of OSD, school education department and relieved of the charge of director evaluation.

K Libanthung Lotha, NCS, additional secretary, co-operation would hold additional charge of team leader Nagaland Bamboo Mission. Henkhahao Singson, NCS, additional secretary, EF&CC is transferred and posted as additional secretary, planning & co-ordination department with the charge of director evaluation department.

Obangla Jamir, NCS, additional secretary, social welfare department is transferred and posted as additional secretary, home department.

Imtirenla Jamir, NCS, director, YR&S is transferred and posted as joint secretary W&H department. Akumla Chuba, NCS, joint secretary, F&SC is transferred and posted as director, YR&S.

Elizabeth Ngully, NCS, joint secretary, tourism (designate) is transferred and posted as joint secretary, urban development department. Kuko Mero, joint secretary, CM secretariat is transferred and posted as joint secretary, geology & mining department.

M Yashei Konyak, NSS, joint secretary, horticulture is transferred and posted as joint secretary, social welfare department.

T Yanpvuthung Kikon, NCS, joint secretary municipal affairs department is transferred and posted as joint secretary, tourism department.

Gregory Thejawelie, NCS, joint secretary, school education is transferred and posted as joint secretary, social welfare department. Arenla Jamir, NCS, joint secretary, home is transferred and posted as joint secretary, land resources department.

Nusieta Rhakho, NSS, deputy secretary, home on promotion is transferred and posted as joint secretary, home department.

S Neiseu Tsikhanuo, NSS, deputy secretary, S&WC on promotion is transferred and posted as joint secretary, geology & mining department.

Chisi Thou, NSS, deputy secretary, transport on promotion is transferred and posted as joint secretary, women resource department.

Imtinokchala Amer, NSS, deputy secretary, finance on promotion is transferred and posted as joint secretary, eco & statistics.

T Imtiwapand Aier, NCS, deputy secretary, Agri shall hold charge of team leader, NBHM.

Rabeni Kikon, deputy secretary, eco & statistics is transferred and posted as deputy secretary, vety. & AH.

Shilomenla Longchari, NSS, under secretary, social welfare department on promotion is transferred and posted as deputy secretary F&CS department.

Senti Ao, NSS, under secretary, H&FW is transferred and posted as under secretary, excise department. Imokokla, NCS, under secretary, school education is transferred and posted as under secretary, lab & emp.

P Jacob Patton, NSS, under secretary, F&CS is transferred and posted as under secretary, W&H department (housing).

YP Along, NSS, section officer, finance on promotion is transferred and posted under secretary, H&FW department. Besuyi Khokhru, NSS, section officer, G&M on promotion is transferred and posted as under secretary, IT&C department.
