The centre was officially inaugurated and dedicated by Dr. Kenny Tsela, pastor Rengma Baptist Church Kohima on Wednesday.

Offering the dedicatory prayer for the newly baking centre, Tsela, pastor said Nagas have been blessed with lots of potential and talents that can be utilize for the glory of God. Appreciating Thong, Tsela hoped that her venture will pave way for the youngsters to take up their hobbies to profession for self employment.

Thong, a mother of three children and a professional baker, who has been in the field for a decade, said she had experimented baking with locally available products, some of which turned out better than the products that are readily available in the market.

She had also written a book ‘Sweet Station anyone can bake’ in 2018. However, she felt that practical was better than theory, which influenced her to start the centre
