BASN fetes Femina Miss India Nagaland

 Beauty and Aesthetics Society of Nagaland (BASN) organized a grand felicitation programme for Marina Kiho fbb colors Femina Miss India Nagaland 2019 who won the subtitle Cox and Kings Getaway Goddess 2019 in the recently conducted fbb Colors Femina Miss India 2019 held at Mumbai, the country’s biggest beauty pageant, on Friday evening at Symphony Cafe Kohima. 

Miss Nagaland 2017, Marina Kiho in her address said that the 40 days spent at Mumbai with other contestants from across the country was a period of growth and transformation and learning. Kiho maintained that eventhough she did not emerge as one of the winners but said that she has made lots of beautiful memories and came out stronger than earlier.  She said it was a new experienced with life challenging and eye opener to learn something new and mentioned that reaching such national level fulfilled her child’s dream.  

On being queried during interaction session, Kiho said according to her the main reason why Naga candidates lack at the national level was due to communication problem. According to Ruopfüzhano Whiso, Naga people lack exposure, lack in fashion industry and lack of advance training to compete in the national level. 

BASN general secretary, Tiarenla Jamir felicitated Marina Kiho and acknowledged various organizations and individuals for supporting Kiho and BASN in the journey in her word of gratitude. 

BASN member, Mele Pucho who chaired the programme informed that this was the 3rd time BASN sending representative from the state in fbb color Femina Miss India. Youth evangelist KABA Arenla Longchar prayed for the subtitle winner Marina Kiho.  

The felicitation programme was attended by Ruopfüzhano Whiso, who represented the state in fbb colors Femina Miss India Nagaland 2018, BASN and host of friends.
