BBC Wokha holds first ‘Alumni Day’

Bailey Baptist College (BBC) held its first Alumni Day under the theme, “Come and catch up with your ex” on June 4. 

A press release from BBC assistant professor, N. Yanpothung Ezung stated that, C. Zanbenthung Kithan, pastor, Yikhum Village Baptist Church (first batch of the college) exhorted on the need for the growth of college in the spirit of love and duty. James Tungoe, spoke on behalf of alumni and promised to extend any possible help as and when needed. N Yanpothung Ezung spoke on behalf of the teaching faculty, wherein he highlighted the indispensable connection of an alumni with the institution, its obligations and contributions.  Earlier, T Penthungo Lotha, principal BBC while delivering the welcome address embarked on the role of Alumni Association for multiple reasons.  Alumni Association was also formed after the programme. 

Launched on December 3,1990. Nagaland Post is the first and highest circulated newspaper of Nagaland state. Nagaland Post is also the first newspaper in Nagaland to be published in multi-colour.
