BBC Wokha hosts spiritual retreat

Bailey Baptist College (BBC) Wokha organised a two-day spiritual retreat programme under the theme, “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge” (Prov 1:7) in Wokha from July 13 to 14. 

A press release from BBC associate professor, Yanpo Lotha stated that, resource persons were Dr. Moanungsang, principal, Witter Bible College (WTC) Vankhosung, Rev. Thungrio Khuvung, pastor, Wokha Town Baptist Church (WTBC), Samuel Ovung, asst. pastor, WTBC and R. Bithungo Ovung, chaplain, BBC.

Rev. Thungrio Khuvung urged the congregation to focus on God alone and cautioned the students on the use of modern technology and gadgets.

Thungjamo Lotha (Rtd. Jt. director) exhorted the gathering on the importance of hard work and being smart while stressing on the need to work harder with politeness and humbleness.

Thungdeno Mozhui, project director DRDA and president governing body BBC also exhorted the gathering. The first evening service was chaired by R. Bithungo Ovung chaplain BBC, welcome address by T.Penthungo Ngullie principal (acting).
