BCTE holds parting social

Bosco College of Teacher Education (BCTE) Dimapur, held its parting social for the Class of 2017–2019 at the BCTE auditorium on May 17, wherein 97 teacher trainees of the 13th batch will be passing out soon. 

A press release from BCTE Dimapur stated that, principal Fr. T. C. Joseph reminded the outgoing teacher-trainees that they were going to be teachers of digital age and that they need constant updating. He asserted that they need to be alert and creative in order to be able to help students to be intelligent users of the media.
Fr. M. D. Varghese, financial administrator of BCTE, urged the outgoing student-teachers to be very sensitive to the needs of the children.
Sonyasonla spoke on behalf of the 2nd semester students while Neiki Rheno spoke on behalf of 4th semester students. Neiki Rheno acknowledged that the outgoing students had learnt many things from BCTE and expressed gratitude to Fr. T. C. Joseph (principal), Fr. Nicholas Guangdiat (vice principal), Fr. M. D. Varghese (administrator) and to the teaching and non-teaching staff.
Earlier, programme commenced with prayer by brother Kambor Singh and Word of God was read out by brother Saulus. The programme was also interspersed with semester-wise choirs, musical pieces in groups as well as prize distribution for many competitions held earlier.
