Nagaland Taekwon-Do Federation (NTF), an affiliate of the Taekwon-Do Association of India (TAI) and the International Taekwon-Do Federation (ITF), organized a three-day national seminar and black belt grading from June 27 to 29 in Dimapur. The seminar and grading was conducted by master Narender Singh Rawat (7th degree black belt, International Master, umpire and Examiner) of New Delhi.

Altogether, ten Taekwon-Do practitioners were awarded first degree black belts. They included Kaisü Kayina, Athisü Kayina, Aito K. Sumi, Mayanger Aier, Kuputo  H.Assumi, Amongba  Jamir, Theca Aiden Kevichusa, Dr. Krosakhol Pucho, Kamal Dhar, and Kulungshi Newmai

Meanwhile, with the addition of the new black belts, there are currently 114 ITF black belt holders in Nagaland, out of which three are 4th degree black belt holders.
