The Kapil Sharma show slips to number nine

The latest TRP sees a major shift in what the viewers are watching on television. While Kundali Bhagya continues to rule the charts, Bigg Boss 13 has seen a massive climb. It’s now the third most watched show on television, reported Times of India.

On the second position is Ekta Kapoor’s hit fantasy drama, Naagin. With an all new cast which includes Nia Sharma, Jasmin Bhasin and Vijayendra Kumeria, the show’s being loved for the twists and turns in its plot.

Daily soap Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is at the fouth spot. Over the years, the show has managed to retain its popularity, and Naira-Kartik’s (Shivangi Joshi and Mohsin Khan) jodi continues to be an audience favourite.

The fifth spot is taken by Sriti Jha and Shabir Ahluwalia’s Kumkum Bhagya. Post the leap, the story of the next generation in the show makes for an engaging watch.

Kumkum Bhagya is followed by reality show Indian Idol which is at the sixth position. It’s not just the performance but the camaraderie shared by the judges - Neha Kakkar, Himesh Reshammiya and Vishal Dadlani - and the host, Aditya Narayan that make it a winner.

Sitcom Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is at the seventh spot and it is followed by Choti Sardarni. The daily soap’s new twist where Param is hospitalised is keeping the viewers hooked.

The Kapil Sharma Show and Yeh Jaadu Hai Jinn Ka are at ninth and tenth spot respectively.
