BJP Nagaland conducts ‘Swacchata Hi Seva’

Commemorating the 103rd birth anniversary of Pandit Deendayal Upadhaya, the BJP Karyakartas from all the 60 assembly constituencies of Nagaland ranging from the state office bearers to district office bearers, mandals, blocks including all cells and morchas took part in “Swaachta Hi Seva” (Cleanliness is Service) in their respective areas on September 28.

A press release from BJP Nagaland state general secretary, P. Kavili Achumi stated that, the cleanliness drive was conducted in all parts of Nagaland including 15 districts/org. districts headquarters, over 2000 polling booth stations on Saturday. 
At the state capital Kohima the campaign was organized and participated by the officials from the state and Kohima sistrict at Phezhoucha, New Secretariat road under the supervision of Kevidezo Peter Rutsa, state vice president and in-charge of Kohima district. BJP Nagaland also encouraged all citizens to come forward and support strict ban of single use plastic following the footsteps of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of Clean India. 
Meanwhile, deputy chief minister and BLP leader Y. Patton has thanked and congratulated the BJP Karyakartas of all rank and files of the state for partaking in the Swaachta hi Seva and successfully carrying out the mission to the people in every nook and corner. He further urged upon every BJP functionaries to keep up the spirit of rendering public services even in days to come.
